UN Global Road Safety Week – take part!

The Second UN Global Road Safety Week, to be held 6 – 12 May 2013, offers a unique opportunity to draw attention to the issue of pedestrian safety and a slower urban speed. We are all pedestrians: on any given day, we choose to walk to and from our variousdestinations or – at a minimum – we begin and end most trips on foot. Walking requires no fare, no fuel, no license and no registration. It is integral to theliveability of our communities.
We will contribute to this week with a lot of activities : We will try to collect as much signatures as possible to make our initiative a succes., spread the word, discuss the issue, inform all media and show how well a lower urban speed limit can contribute to road safety. The World Health Organisation wrote us that they appreciate our “great campaign”! Thank you, WHO!

And now let´s take action.
Join our campaign. You will find some great material here in a couple of days.
